Scientist – Antibody production and charactierization

The position
We are seeking a lab based, creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly experienced scientist with a proven background in protein chemistry, antibody engineering and protein production.
You will be part of a protein production team working with bacterial and mammalian expression systems to produce protein for in vitro and in vivo studies and perform biochemical antibody characterization.
Your core responsibilities will be:
- Small to large scale antibody production in our in-house facility
- Taking part in planning in vivo studies
- Biochemical antibody characterization and developability assessment
- Execute experimental plans, analyze experimental data and maintain experimental results in relevant databases
- Prepare, review and complete study reports and protocols/SOPs
- In addition, you will shape Commit Biologics together with us to establish a professional and cutting-edge immune therapy company.
Qualifications
You hold a PhD or MS degree in Molecular biology or Biochemistry and have experience with antibody engineering/production from the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
We are looking for a candidate with these qualifications:

- Excellent lab-based scientist
- Possession of a deep technical expertise and hands-on knowledge in a range of protein production systems
- Experience with antibody characterization including ELISA, BLI, Biacore, Epitope binning, flow cytometry etc.
- Data processing, statistical analysis and interpretation.
Soft skills:
- Highly motivated and dynamic individual who can take ownership of a project and take pride in its delivery.
- Proactive with problem-solving aptitude
- The ability to plan and execute to clear timelines and to prioritize tasks
- The ability to work independently and actively collaborate within and across teams such as cell assay team and in vivo team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong results driven personality, high level of enthusiasm, energy and creativity and an ability to demonstrate flexibility and integrity.
